Off-the-grid: watch your footprint

The business concept of our distillery assumed a sustainable business… it turned out that we literally have no choice to do otherwise. Located on a corn field we are literally of-the-grid. A single-phase hydro supply means no powerful, energy-hungry equipment. Limited yield from our artisanal well means we need to recycle our water, while propane gas forces us to be energy-efficient. We have to be eco-minded, sustainable and green – and we love the challenge!
